CLIMATE CONFERENCE

In December 2015, during the 21st International Climate Conference (COP 21), Tara was docked in the heart of Paris, near the Pont Alexandre III.

The schooner Tara, ambassador of the ocean at the COP21, promoted understanding of environmental issues among the general public.

I documented through short videos, a serie of events, dedicated to the Ocean, supported by Tara and the “Ocean & Climate” Platform.

The then Head of the UN, Ban Ki-moon, went on board the scientific schooner Tara. He was welcomed by Agnès b., the french stylist and co-founder of Tara Expeditions. His visit shows the importance of oceanographic research, funded by the stylist, agnes b, which has highlighted the crucial role of the oceans in the global climate balance.

I documented this crucial event through a short video broadcast on social media.

Climate change does not respect border; it does not respect who you are – rich and poor, small and big. Therefore, this is what we call ‘global challenges,’ which require global solidarity
